Crafty Nia (9) loves sewing and was inspired
by her friend Phoebe to make jewellery. She
wanted to help the RSPCA, so she decided
to make lavender bags and bracelets to sell
at a local festival. Her mum and brother
helped, and she made a super £61.
"I've already held a toy sale for the RSPCA," Nia tells
us. "And I'm thinking about doing a sponsored run.
I love animals and spending time with Lily, my
aunty and uncle's Labrador."
Well done, Nia!
Eleven-year-old Eloise
loves animals. She's
adopted rescue rabbits
and has a dog called
Gracie. So she decided
to raise money for
the RSPCA by baking
and selling yummy
cakes on her driveway.
She arranged two
sales and raised an
extraordinary £55.20.
"I decided to fundraise for the RSPCA
because animals deserve a new start
in life," says Eloise. "I hope the
money will help all the badly
treated animals to start afresh,
and I'm planning to organise
more bake sales in future."
You should be proud of
a great sale, Eloise!
Willow and Felix's
When Willow (9) and younger brother Felix (5) were
chosen by their school to take part in the London
Mini Marathon, they knew they wanted to help
animals like their rescue dog Ayla. Thanks to their
generous sponsors, their run raised a fabulous £400!
"We ran a mile - past Buckingham Palace and down to the
finish line!" says Willow and Felix. "Our parents, grandparents
and aunty all came to support us on the day."
Congratulations, you two!
Jessica, who's nine, wanted
to earn her Brownies
Charities badge. She wanted
to help animals and decided
to choose the RSPCA as her
charity and took part in a
sponsored bike ride to raise
money. Her target was £160,
but she got so many people
to sponsor her that she
raised a whopping £300!
"My dad ran alongside me, and we
managed 12km!" says Jessica.
"My arms and legs ached for two
days afterwards. But I felt ecstatic
because it was for a good
cause. I love animals and
I have a 13-year-old rescue
cat called Houdini."
You smashed it, Jessica!
