saves Dolly
"
…she's safe
with me now.
"
Dolly is a bright, healthy, adored little dog now, but her owner first
saw her in very different circumstances. Dolly came to us after a
PDSA vet contacted us, suspecting she'd been deliberately harmed.
She was bruised, had trouble walking and cowered from her owner.
We rescued her and took her to a vet, where X-rays showed the
extent of her trauma - a fractured skull, dislocated tail and broken
foot. She'd been beaten multiple times.
After months of treatment and loving care at RSPCA York, Harrogate
and District Branch, her new owner fostered and eventually
adopted her. "I couldn't imagine a sweeter, more affectionate dog
and I'm so glad she's safe with me now."
